The Panther ventilator includes features to improve synchrony with the patient. These include:
• SMART Trigger™ operates differently from traditional triggers and optimally detects triggers in various conditions standard triggers fail such as COPD patients or when varying or high leaks are present.
• Demand flow is VC mode synchrony tool that allows the ventilator to respond during a breath with additional flow during periods of increased patient flow demand
• Auto exhalation sensitivity automatically adjusts the exhalation sensitivity setting to meet the patient breath pattern and terminate the breath at the right time
• Leak compensation seamlessly adjusts for various leaks in intubated patients
